Welcome to Countdown. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Countdown, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Countdown is a mobile application that allows you to:

• Create and manage countdown timers for events
• Display countdowns on your home screen via widgets
• Share countdowns with other users
• Sync countdowns across devices

3. User Accounts

Your account is automatically created using your device identifier. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us of any unauthorized use

4. Free and Pro Features

Countdown offers both free and paid (Pro) features:

• Free: Create up to 3 countdowns, basic widgets
• Pro: Unlimited countdowns, all widget sizes, priority support

Pro is a one-time purchase. Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Share content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the app
• Reverse engineer or modify the app

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create (event titles, dates). We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. By using sharing features, you grant us permission to transmit your shared content to intended recipients.

7. Intellectual Property

The Countdown app, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The app will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
